This racquet almost plays the game for you. Sick Power. Confidence with every swing. It just rocks and ruins opponents on the court.

GearBox staff is very easy to work with and would recommend anyone to atleast demo GearBox racquets before making a decision on buying a new racquet. The GearBox designing crew does know racquetball and puts together very good products.

This racquet has tons of power! You will be amazed at how much better than Ektelon, Head and Wilson this racquet is. Nice, nice, nice.

Great balance and very playable. Super racquet. Reminds me of the balance on the old mirada and strobe.

Very impress with how solid it feels, great control. Would recommend stringing a little less than factory to add even more pop. Was sponsored by EFORCE for many years but very impressed with the Gearbox 250, 170 grams

I just finished a week long demo with the GB 250 Gold (185), the GB 250 White (165), and GB 250 Black (170) and I am sold on the Gold! It has a swing-weight comparable to most 170 - 175 gram racquets and hits a TON! I was absolutely amazed at the control AND power of this racquet; so many people think the lightest racquets are the best, but there is a lot more to it than that. Check into the specs of each racquet on RB Warehouse and you might find that the actual swing-weight of some heavier racquets are comparable to lighter racquets. Then, when you combine a similar swing-weight along with the extra mass of the heavier racquet you get extra power! After five years of using head-heavy HEAD racquets this GB 250 Gold which is only slightly head-heavy feels so much better on the wrist and elbow; all I can say is WOW!

Considering I've been playing for less than a year as a whole, you can take this recommendation with a grain of salt. After having played with ektelon head e force and even Wilson racquets of all weights, this is an unparalleled piece of equipment. I know its more about the player than the racquet, but this thing sure helps. GB250 165. Demo one

I have played with nearly all the top end racquets in the last few years and developed my idea of the perfect racquet; very stiff, head heavy with a small but more rectangular shaped handle. The gearbox 165 has 2 of the 3. No racquet has all 3 but the Gearbox has much more. It is the most durable and is backed by a great organization very dedicated to racquetball for love of the sport, not just for love of more customers. This racquet sticks to the basics, no gimmics, and surpasses everything else I have tried.

I have hit with hundreds of racquets in the 38 years I have playing racquetball and I way hands down that this is the best racquetball ever developed. It is well-balanced, no swing drag due to thin frame at top and incredibly durable. As for power and control, I feel like I can hit the ball hard and control it well.
The designer of this racquet really knows how to develop a racquet. I think that if Rocky or Jack would switch to Gearbox, it would raise them 20%-30% closer to Kane's level instantly.

Comments: By far the best racquet I have played with to date! The simplicity in the design is incredible! There are no marketing gimmicks with this stick; just raw power and superb control. This stick will be in my bag for many years to come!

I like the new GB-250 White-165 better than last year Black model, this racquet it's lighter but hits like a heavy racquet, has a lot more power, and pretty much same control like previuos Black model. Head is heavier.
I owned last's year model GB-250 (Black) and I sold 2 months later, but this is in a winner I recently purchased one and I felt in love with it, I already order my 2nd racquet. this is by far a better racquet even the both models have same frame.
demo this racquet ASAP and you will keep it !!!

Gearbox Came out this year with 2 new models, I got a pretty good feel for the new racquets from Gearbox. Building off the popular Gearbox GB250 (170g), the two new frames will debut this season 2008/09. They will both feature the same design as the GB250, but will offer two new weights - 165g (White) and 185g (Gold).
The G250 165g /185g, 2008/09 models has a lot more Power & Control compared from last year models, same racquet frame.

Comments: I've got just one thing to say - this is the smoothest racquet I have ever played with. Number one in control and this is the first racquet that has not caused pain in my elbow. Amazing, I love it and can't imagine ever using any other racquet. To me it's a perfect weapon and it elevated my game the first time i used it. As far as power is concerned I am a pretty strong dude, if the ball hits my racquet it's the sweet spot.

Overall, I’d give this racquet two thumbs up. There is no doubt Gearbox will make an impact on the racquetball racquet market based on the quality and playability of their products.
I am currently playing with the new Gerabox
GB-165 (white).

Excellent racquet. I am very happy with the power, control, balance, and lack of vibration. Took a little while to get used to the swing weight, and I have found that max power and control is achieved when you lay off the power somewhat - probably the reason my elbow doesn't hurt anymore. I am buying another one and selling my other racquets.

This other guys must get a life and try other racquets before rating a product it is very clear to me that they must be geting a cut or some pay back for their opinions, they should be honest when placeing an opinion, I fell for and bought one and I regret buying such a poor performance so call good racquet, I try to give it to a friend of mine and he almost got offended, so next time you guys place an opinion about one of the products, please let us know if you actually practice the sport.

I think this racquet is very solid and hits with good power. Maneuverability is very good. The grip length and shape are true to the hand with good leverage into the ball.I also like the fact that no paint was used on frame which prevents chiping associated with other racquets.

Bought this racquet after buying the GB 125. I love both of them but the GB 250 feels a touch better. I can hit with more power using this racquet. I love it!

This is the best racquet I've ever used, I was for a long time an Ektelon player, changed to head, then to E-Force and by far this is the best.
